I have a fantastic idea to transform the whole church going experience. Not for me a Tuscan Villa, a Bugatti Veyron, a lifetime’s supply of Dom Perignon. I don’t want caviar or diamonds or servants or even an expensive foreign player to boost the attack of the mighty Spurs as we push for the premiership title next season.

George Carey CofE Primary School in Barking Riverside was officially opened in March. The former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Carey who grew up in the area performed the opening ceremony, supported by Bishop Stephen and Bishop David.
